Doug, Why are they resting sheep at Montgomery? Cars were usually trucked from Montgomery to Chicago based on their schedule. West? West to what packing plant? I do recall some stock being loaded on the IC in areas of western Iowa. I recall a photo I did going from Eola to Montgomery. I also recall IC stock when I was working at IHB/Congress Park, also going to either Clyde or Montgomery.
