Thanks for your reply.  As it happens, I am joining BRHS (the check is in the 
mail), but it is nice to get a personal invitation.  I am pretty sure I can't 
add very much, but I certainly can support BRHS with my interest.   

I wasn't aware that articles were published about Oregon in recent Zephyrs, or 
that back-issues were available from BRHS, so thank you for making me aware of 
them.   

Thank you also for your brief description of the Rockford branch.  I will have 
to take up your suggestion about getting info from the Milwaukee Road group.  

I am pretty sure that "w/f" means "way freight" in your note, but what does P/U 
mean?
