Hi Leo,
I believe the Milw took interchange of cars of coal from the IC at
Mendota. It went north through Rockford, Beloit, Janesville,
Madison, Portage and then into the Wisconsin Valley line (paper mills
and such). Might have also been a Q outlet for coal at one time.
