Actually, I looked for that tank car again last night and it is gone. I'm sure
it will be back. They use about a dozen of those cars for shuttling fuel to
the storage tank from where ever. Most of them have been repainted in BN green
and black.

I'll keep my eye out. I'm not too comfortable taking my camera to work with me
yet. I don't want to be labeled foamer or goofball.

  Hi,
Can you get any photos of that tank car, both sides & ends ?

To my surprise, no waycar or motor in the jargon book. Here's a few for fun...

  Dinger - Yardmaster/Trainmaster

  Knowledge Box - Yardmaster/Trainmaster Office

  Brains - Conductor

  Cinder Dick - Railroad Police/Agent

Also, driving though the yard today and noticed one of the 60 plus foot tank
cars used as a company fuel transport still wearing the BURLINGTON name and
Burlington Route hearld on the side. The markings were faded, but still easy to
spot.

Yesterday, we learned about air brakes on cars. Our demonstrator was an old
ballast hopper. The hopper was labeled for BN, but there was CB&Q stampings on
the sides of the trucks. Built in 1967.

Bill Barber, thank you for the encouragement. As for a grip, I already have
one on order.
