Amoco has a pipeline terminal at Rochelle from the refineries. I haven't been to Rochelle since the spring meet there a few years back but I do see the C&I wayfrieght with the fuel cars so I suspect your diesel loads at Galesburg are originating in Rochelle. Both the Q/BN and Milw used to load cars there for system use. In the old days the retail dealers were supplied from this terminal. L Peshia used to talk about how long it took to get a car from Rochelle to places like Walnut and Tampico. Just think of all the switching and handling that was involved in this short hop.
