Looks like one point of clarification needs to be brought to light on the  
discussion of the "jeeps" w/Allied full Cushion Trucks. 
That being it is my understanding the trouble with derailments started  after 
the Q purchased the cars and operated them in regular service. Given what  
I've read about troop trains they weren't exactly operated like the Zephyrs and 
 
the equipment was new then. After years of use and then being placed in high  
speed service things started happening.
