John,
Go to the YAHOO Groups, and search for 2 different groups that deal with
brass trains.
One is titled "brasscollectors" and the other is titled "HO_BRASS"
I found both groups helpful last year when I was searching for info on a
brass model. I did notice that they have had discussions on how to deal with
problems like yous.
