In the 1905 Official Railway Equipment Register are listed 2 cars that
I am interested in learning more about; they are CB&Q 700 & 701, they
are listed as observation cars. I have checked Pullman and AC&F lot
lists and can't find anything on these cars.
What kind of observation cars were they? Café? Parlor? Open air
excursion types?
Who built them and when?
I haven't found any indication from the 1910 Official Guide I have on
what train they were used.
On which train were they used?
What happened to them, (no 700 or 701 is listed in the 1926 ORER I
have.)
