I'm thinking potatoes. They get harvested in the fall and later a large 
number of french fry plants opened up in the PNW. IIRC, Simplot (or who 
ever owns them now) had one of the largest processing plants for 
McDonald's fries up here.

Or maybe onions. Coming out of Walla Walla in Western Fruit Express 
cars - but I'm sticking with potatoes...

Either way - I'm glad your back 'on board' Leo. I've always enjoyed 
your stories and it's good to hear more!
