The area that you are asking about is on neither fill
or steel.

The trackwork is held up by a series of concrete
pillars set on the ground, and the track sits on a bed
of concrete. My guess is that this section is abount
20-25 feet above ground, and this allows for
automobliles to park under the tracks.
