As information, CB&Q built the first pre-stressed concrete span used by any railroad in the United States. Prestressing enabled a span to be shallower than a conventional span of the same length. This span is in Bridge 38.64 on the old H&StJ, constructed in 1954 on a line change between the west end of Hunnewell and the Salt River bridge. I'm guessing it's still in service.
