If we could get either NKP or Brass Car Sides to make just the sides, Walther's
coaches and Pullmans etc. make fine core kits as the sides are separate pieces.
Has anyone thought to ask either of these companies if they would consider
doing them? John

One car that was mentioned here were the SSS rebuilds. Of course car sides of
them aren't going to work with the Walthers 60 foot RPO or coach models as a
core kit. But it would be really nice if NPK, Brass Car Sides, or Branchline
could produce this model.
