we used to have these were I worked in my trainmen days. My clearest  
recollection is of a Sunday after being at work for only about a half hour when 
 we 
kicked a cut of cars of which the car next to the engine waa covered  
coal/grain car. Wel it had rained and when the kick started I pulled the pin 
and  was 
rewarded with a huge deluge of cold water. I was soaked all the way through  
head to toe and remeber this was fall. I had to go home and chnge before I  
froze. I remember that incident very clearly even after 30 plus years.
