Greetings All,

Tee AT&SF originally had a coal tressle at its depot
in Colorado Springs.
This was burnt to the ground in the late 20s/ early
30s.
It was replaced by oiling facilities. The AT&SF
switched to bunker fueled steam power around the same
time on the Joint Line.

The C&S engines, of course, used coal.

Did the AT&SF have a "back up" coaling facility in
Colorado Springs to replenish C&S tenders in an
emergancy?
Or did the D&RGW provide this service?

Kindest regards,
Mark Sellars
