Greetings All,

A follow on question, if I may.

The AT&SF under the Agreement provided all train crew
including driver, fireman and conductor.

C&S and the AT&SF way cars operated "chain gang"
fashion with C&S way cars frequently bringing up the
rear of AT&SF trains on the Joint Line.

Did the AT&SF always provide the conductors for C&S
way cars?

Did the AT&SF assign C&S way cars to specific AT&SF
conductors in the early years as they did with their
own way cars?

There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest that C&S
conductors may have been assigned C&S way cars on the
Joint Line at some point.
Perhaps during WWII.

Can anyone please shed some light?

Regards, Mark Sellars
