This happened to me also. Another way of checking these types of messages is to 
logon to your Ebay acc't and check 'MY MESSAGES'.  If it's from Ebay you will 
find it there. This way is alot easier than using Ebays 'HELP' tab which I find 
anything but user friendly.

  All, this is fairly common. I had something similar a few months ago and 
  sent the suspected email to eBay (same thing happend on PayPal too).  eBay 
  stated that any official email from them will have your name not "Dear 
  Customer". Happy and safe web surfing.
