Subject: O5 Northern

BRHS,

I am looking for an O5 Northern in HO scale.

I remember that Bachmann made one around 1990-1997 time frame and I see that
someone in Texas has one for sale on E-Bay.

My questions are:

1. How close to prototype is this model on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being
the closest.

2. Does it need to be repowered for better preformance? I have heard rumors
that it does need repowering.

3. Is there room for a DCC chip inside the engine, I can or will use an N
scale chip if needed.

4. Does anyone know the fair market value of this model?

5. Other than brass, has anyone else made or going to make this engine?

Thanks for your help,

Ron Atherton
