The date and year for this can not be right. McKinley was elected
president in November 1896. He was inaugurated in March 1897.
Presidential elections in the 1880s were in 1880, 1884 and 1888.
If the train was a presidential train in 1887, Grover Cleveland was
president then and it had to just be some kind of presidential
excursion/tour train.
