That change occurred in the early 60's and did not have an affect on
the arrangement of the slumbercoaches.
All that happened was that the dome coach and the Colorado Springs
flattop coach traded positions so that the arrangement of the train
was obs, Denver sleepers, diner, Colo. Springs sleeper DZ10, Colo.
Springs slumbercoach SC12, now Colorado Springs dome coach DZ14, now
Denver chuckwagon, Denver slumbercoach SC19 (peak season only),
Denver coaches, including former Colorado Springs Flattop Coach.
Interestingly, during one summer, the Chuckwagon was sent to Colorado
Springs and a higher density 50 or 54 passenger Twin Zephyrs dome
coach was substituted for the regular 46 passenger DZ dome coach.
