Gerald, David, Great information, thank you much! It appears Freeport and Peoria hold the most promise. The particular series of carbon black cars I'm after were built by Thrall in 1977: CABX 580703-580722. Other owners in this series are WITX, PSPX, JMHX, HTCX, CCX and SRCX, 178 cars total.
