While we are on the subject of Unpublished Books, wasn't there some movement
on the Schultz Zephyr tome?
Also doesn't some publisher have an equipment book that was written by Bat?

The cheapness of the Burlington in its heyday is exceeded only by the
stinginess of its devotees. Now, I have 100%
Bohemian genes and have been known to straighten a bent nail for future
reuse myself, but some people seem to have
blinders on when it comes to the cost of the Hobby. We live in a world
where inflation has jacked up the absolute price
of everything. Deal with it.

Yes, a $70 book is more expensive than a $50 book. But you can't buy an
automobile today for less than what my first house
cost me in 1972 and most cost twice that.

The response to brass, plastic ready to run, and custom decorated models and
publications aimed at Burlington Route modelers has been very disappointing
to most manufacturers who have attempted to satisfy the requests for such
material.
If we don't get off our duffs and support these efforts we can't complain
that everything that comes out is for the Pennsylvania
or Santa Fe....
