I think you would have some trouble. The R-2 is about 6ft longer than
the R-1,and it has a different cab, are the first things that I see. You
can look at the folio sheets on Becks site at:

But it depends on how much you slave to the prototype. If you want to
letter it for and call it a R-2 not too many visitors will know the
difference. Also it will be no worse than some of the mass RTR engines
lettered for Q and aren't even close. It's your RR.
