Use to have a switch engine at Chariton which went on duty every morning to
move the reefers we had set out each nite in to the warehouse. They would
call in around 6:30SAM to crossover. Then it was decided to cut off the
switch eng and do the work with the wayfreight. So Hy-Vee went to trucks
because they could not get a switch when they wanted it.
