Duncan - Keokuk (per official CB&Q record in "31) had a balanced bucket style blt. by Fairbanks-Morse in "13. Was 150# capy, 18' x 28' wood frame const. with a 10' x 32' concrete machinery house powered by a F-M type T 12-hp gas engine. It had one coal pocket serving 2 tracks and also had a 8' x 8' tank compressor sanding facility also serving 2 tracks. Lump coal was used with 36# ave. daily use with a sprinkler system for fire protection. Gerald Edgar
