Too bad old Franny Pauls isn't with us anymore. He used to be the Eola RH "man" who knew and performed his job well. I'm sure he could have explained the locomotive assignments at the time. He looked like the twin brother of "Ed Wynn" of Hollywood fame. I'm thinking of calling "Honest" John Schmid to see what he remembers about Eola RH as I'm sure he "hostled" there (DG and Aurora, too). Bob |
