Last night I found a solicitation from the IRM put out in 1995
requesting money for the 3007 preservation fund. It's a very classy
production of four pages with four "in service" photos of the 3007 in
action. On the back page is a shot of her on the Exposition Flyer in
August, 1942 taken by Ira Eigsti. The location of the photo states
Buda, Illinois but I think it is passing, westbound, by the Kewanee
depot. It also states that the photo is in the "Trains" Magazine
Collection. Anyone on the "list" familiar with this picture? I
don't recall seeing this same photo in the S-4 Bulletin. I suppose I
could check with Kalmbach to verify the titling of the photo.
