First of all, Charlie, lighten up! :-) Academic research is not limited to
libraries. This might be the start to an interesting conversation thread.
By chance, are you looking for station names that were not towns, but were
created by the railroads? One, that I can think of off the top of my head
is Connett, just east of Burlington Iowa, which was named after a CB&Q
Ottumwa Division Superintendent, C.J. Connett.
