CB&Q fans: I am attempting to paint some original paint scheme CB&Q P-S 2
covered hoppers . I am using the same Con-Cor hopper used several years ago
by the society . In reading Burlington Bulletin #20 , I see the statement "
The first 30 P-S 2's , classed HC-2 by the Q , wore the same mineral red
paint scheme as the contempory HC - 1's ". There is no picture in the #20
to show that scheme on the HC - 2 cars however . Can anyone confirm the
statement ? I really don't want to paint these up if the scheme didn't
really exist .
