Car initials ending in X means that that car is non railroad owned...ie 
privately owned. UTLX (Union Tank Car), PFEX (Pacific Fruit Express) SRLX 
(Swift Refrigerator Lines), TTX (Trailer Train).

Here's a couple of railroad abbreviations from way back. How about THE BIG 
VALISE and the POOR MARY.

A a couple of old timers out there should know these.
