Paul, according to Bulletin #20, 181550 was the first of a batch of 350 covered-hoppers built in Havelock in 1958. It did have eight square loading hatches and riveted braces and was an AC&F-design cement/sand car many of which were lettered for return to Wdron or Ottawa. The bulletin actually has a builder's photo of that car. It should have the post 1958 block gothic "Burlington" rather than the script slogans, but did appear in mineral red with the lettering and herald all in white. Merry Christmas, Duncan Cameron |
