Hi list, Maybe this is a bit off topic, but since it is about a Burlington engine, it's maybe not too far away. I have recently purchased my first brass locomotive. It is unpainted but has a clear coat and is covered with oil all over. Now, what to do - should I strip the clear coat with a sand blaster or just clean it and paint directly on the finish that has become a little dark over the years. What do you recommend in such a case? Bye, Florian Griessenboeck |
