at 0850, 20-Aug-2001 M-KCKIHB1-19 ran into the rear end of Q-LACNYC1-17
at Ransom IL on the former ATSF between Streator and Joliet. Both crew
members sent to a hospital as a precaution.
M-KCKIHB1-19 had: ATSF 663-BNSF 5437 with 40-71-7203-7244'
The rear 5 pack on the "Q" train derailed, both units and the head 4 cars on
the M-KCKIHB1-19.
Second rear ender in a week. Other was at East Pacific Jct.
