To Whom It May Concern:
I am a fan, living in the Chicago Area. MY QUESTION to ANY OF YOUR MEMBERS
IS, as we ALL know, Amtrak's "Empire Builder," Train Nos. 7-27, and 8-28,
are being turned back, at the Twin Cities, due to the former Milwaukee Road
Route, being "under water," due to the Mississippi River Flooding. Do ANY
of
your members know, if the former Burlington Route trackage, is ALSO under
water, say like up around the Savannah, Prairie Du Chien, La Crosse Area?
If
NOT, why can't the "Empire Builder," be rerouted over it's ORIGINAL ROUTING,
between Chicago and the Twin Cities?
If ANY of your members "might know," my E-Mail Address is geraldspc@a...
ANY information would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank You, Very KINDLY.
Jerry
