What is the minimum radius curve your Oriental O5 will handle? I have an
Oriental O5 also (5631) but have never run it around a curve. I am in the
process of planning a new HO layout. Also any thoughts on what radius the
new Challenger O5 will handle.

I placed a reservation for a Challenger MTZ over a year ago at my local
hobby shop. When will it arrive? Beats me.

This is one of those kind of things that I am not going to hold my breath
for....just like when Life Like, etc, announces a new motor. When it gets
here, it gets here.

By the way, you oughtta see my Oriental 5632 out on the main line!

Regards from San Diego,

Here's the news as I heard it Friday. These are my interpretations and
not those of Challenger. I'm just trying to get everyone more info.

The Hart Ballast cars are coming in 2 versions-soon.

The O3 2-8-2 has no stock number yet, future project.

The following items are TENTATIVELY scheduled pending receipt of more
reservations and other considerations. There are other projects that
are taking precedence over these for now INCLUDING the O5s. If I had
to place a well educated guess, this project is 1 year, more or less,
away.
Twin City Zephyr with interiors
9902 with interior
Mark Twain Zephyr- Original & rebuilt with interior
Pioneer Zephyr- Original & rebuilt with interior

I would suggest, merely my opinion for whatever that's worth, that
instead of bombarding Challenger with emails, send a well written
letter or fax to them. Hard copy receives more attention. Every
importer is jammed on time. I know this sounds trite-but that's why
they have dealers. Importers and manufacturers respect and solicit the
opinions of their customers. But I can tell you that if we state our
opinions and suggestions in a letter, it will go 10x's further. Make
it as painless as professionally possible for them to receive your
thoughts and ideas.

Now that I've gotten this stirred up, I'll heat the water and look for
a Bay Le
