Under the strange section, I have a picture of an SD40-2 on an eastbound at West Quincy that is clearly marked as an "SD30-2"! Guess the painters slipped on that one!

That's what I've always thought too. I did however mention the wrong number
of the unit. I'd have to get the film developed to get the right one. I took
them about two weeks ago only because I thought it was odd to see a four
axle labled an SD.
