Thanks to all that offered information. I did scroll through the 1367 images that came up on the BRHS Photo System when you specify MOW. There were several color photos of Burro cranes in Company Service orange but they were from the 1960's. I agree with Jim and Hol, unless I can find some photos from 1950, I'm likely down to guessing. I'll probably go with the orange. Thanks! Rich G

Best I can do are these two shots of C&S Burro cranes, one in 1957, the other in 1962, both in orange, as were all the Q Burro cranes I ever saw. As to whether one would have been painted orange in 1950, I have no idea, and I don't know when any of the Burro
cranes were built, so I don't know what color they wore when delivered, though I'm sure it was orange after 1949. But if one was orange in 1950 it would obviously be a recent purchase or repaint, still in fresh paint.

I know that the Q started painting company service equipment MOW Orange in
1949, but I have no idea if this crane would have been painted that color, and, if so, if this would have happened this quickly.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
