On the modern-day BNSF, the UP crossing is MP 83.7 and Flag Center is MP 86.3. Assuming both were the same back then, that puts the signals you're asking about at least two miles apart. -- David Stre

Flag Center plant is at MP 86.3 and the C&NW crossing is at MP 83.7. There was originally a bi-directional intermediate signal at MP 85.1 also. The intermediate was later split into two uni-direction
