I shot photos of the DM&IR car trains in Savannah during the early BN era in late May, early June. I assume these were headed to US Steel in Gary. Were they then handed off to the J at Eola? Bob Runt

some of the ore trains came through burlington iowa west bound for a steel mill i belive in utah and if the had a couple of the dmir sd9 there was no touble climbing the burlington hill but this took
