Christopher, I do not know what "LO-11" means. If the CB&Q had a car classification system it was not stenciled on the cars and was kept a secret from the Operating and Transportation Departments. As

What was the exact color of the LO-11 hoppers (nos. 183900-183987)? It appears to me to be imitation aluminum, but all I can see is that it was a much lighter color than previous Q covered hoppers. S
