Louis - The left cart appears to have a 6ET brake system on it. This is the same brake that was used on steam locomotives (E= engine; T=tender) and when those engines went to scrap, the ever so fruga

Are those "square" boxes underneath the car..not the rounded one, but the two side by side boxes for ICE for the "air conditioning" of that era for those cars ?? Pete Louis: The car was built as CB&Q
