Duncan; Yes, they are brass. Around $300.00 ea US. Available in 2 styles: CW-6 & CW-7 factory painted with 4 road numbers in each style. You might want to check out LaBelle Woodworking's kit version.

Duncan, Labelle woodworking offers a craftsman kit of a CW class waycar. I built one and it looks great. List price for the kit is about $70.00 so it won't dent your wallet as much as a brass one. To
