Comparing with the BRHS data sheet on 70 ton Triple hoppers, if they are not perfect, they are very close. I have seen the stewarts painted in boxcar red and chinese red. Ken Martin

Duncan, This has nothing to do with the Stewart hoppers, but C&S cars must have made occaisional appearances to lines east. I don't know if I'd jump to the conclusion that lines west cars didn't trav

Marshall Accordint to the BRHS Freight Car Data Sheet on 55 ton composite Twin Hoppers the War emergency cars originaly had "Way of the Zephyrs" on one side (left as you lood at brake end) No decals
