Eric, The 745xx cars were built at Plattsmouth during 1944. They had steel ends and wood side sheathing.

Eric, I think the easiest car PFE design to paint as BREX would be the R-40-26. I can't see any differences between them and the BREX 76xxx cars built by FGE and PC&F. I would suppose that Intermount

Russ, Isn't the R-40-26 Design form the 50's ? Does it really work for the 745xx cars from 1944? I am not sure but the R-40-26 was one of the first cars to have the plug doors. OK. If I'm dead wrong

Florian, It would not work at all for the 1944 cars as they had wood sides. What I was trying to say is that the only PFE design that is a good match for any BREX cars is the R-40-26. But it is only
