- I've been modeling this area and have number of maps and track charts, so maybe I can help. Looking at an Appanoose County from 1919 the Wabash and CB&Q lines both leave the North side of Albia close

- Yes, I looked a the bottom of the map where it said Appanoose and wrote that instead of the county I was looking at. I believe there is also some new track just west of Knoxville, around the crossin

- My 1919 map does show the line from Hilton to Foster with connections at both ends, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

- Glen, It's definitely there on a 1957 track chart. I should have a track chart from about 1940, but I can't seem to find it. I'll let you know when I do. All the maps I have that are older won't show
