The KCZ and NZ were split at Galesburg. May we assume that the loco consist was split at that point? Seems likely. For the other trains, I don't believe they ever split. So there would be no related

Reporting back from the Santa Fe Yahoo group: It appears that adding a frontwards A to passenger trains was not commonly done. 14 of 89 samples, in one case. And WHY it was done that way in those 14
