Might try the DeGoyler Library at SMU in Dallas.  Years ago I work there cataloging CB&Q drawings right out of West Burlington.  The computer print out for the catalog is about an inch thick (roughly 52 lines on each page) with the locomotive class the drawing was used on listed.  Although my most recent E-Mail has not been answered.

Hello all,
I am looking for copies of original drawings of the U.S.R.A. Locomotives as I am looking to make a live steam model of ~any~ of them in 5" gauge. I have already copied the articles (from the internet archive) on the locomotives that were printed in Railway Age at or around the release of the first engine of each type into service.
Since the CB&Q had engines of several classes of the U.S.R.A. designs I was hopeful that someone in this group may have such drawings available, or know of someone or an organization that may be able to help with my search.
My understanding of the classes of CB&Q locomotives that were U.S.R.A. designs is as follows:
0-6-0 G-5 class
0-8-0 F-1 class
2-8-2B O-4 class
2-10-2B M-3 class
If anyone knows how I could get copies (scans) of original drawings for these locomotives I would appreciate it very much.
Cheers,
Brad
