Looking back, I see that Ted and Jim also had it right, they were just approaching it from the Iowa side, from Pacific Junction!

I think we can label this as the original bridge at Plattsmouth, as Dave and Glen state.  Agreed?

I'm fairly certain this is original Bridge 3.80 at Plattsmouth.  The original bridge had 2 truss spans, and the westerly 400' span was replaced in 1902 ( I think) with a more modern truss span, and the easterly truss was replaced with two 200' deck trusses.  So any photos of the current bridge won't look anything like this one.
