Jerry and others,

A couple of years ago, I was in Downers Grove, IL. I saw a box car that had 
been set out there which had roof hatches at both ends. I thought it a bit 
strange and wondered why the car was so equipped. I did not know about hide 
service and didn’t look for such a designation. With what has been discussed 
here recently, I suspect that it was, in fact, a hide service car. Thanks for 
solving a mystery!
