Bill - You're right, the oil burning 4-6-4s were indeed Class S-4B.  Look at the February 1952 Assignment Sheet on page 293 of the Corbin Book.  Under the Lines West - McCook Division, the 4002 and 4003 are listed as Class S-4B with the side notation as oil burner.  So, Jack can add that to his Classification Chart - Louis

You maybe correct. However, several photos of 4002 and 4003 show the class designation in brighter gold than the rest of the lettering. However, the photos aren’t clear enough to determine what is actually shown.

Here are a couple of comments concerning your locomotive chart. 
 
1. The H class 2-6-0s should be shown as “moguls” not switchers as they were originally purchased as road locomotives.  Some, indeed, were used in switching and branch line service in later years and some were converted to 0-6-0 switchers and reclassified in the G series. 
 
2. Unfortunately, over the years, the Q wasn’t consistent with its use of sub letter designation. It most cases, the sub letter “A” meant that the locomotive had been modified from its as delivered configuration and upgraded. There were exceptions, most notable was the O1A class 2-8-2s. They were delivered as O1As from the factory starting in 1917 and continuing through 1923. They carried the “A” designation as they included significant improvements over the 60 O1 2-8-2s delivered several years earlier. Over the seven years of the O1A production run, further improvements were made, but with no change in the sub designation. The B1 and B1A mountains were similar. The first delivery were classed as B1 while the second group incorporated some improvements (most notably bigger tenders with six wheel trucks) and were classified B1A.
 
3. The Q regularly upgraded older locomotives, sometimes with significant changes, and would reclassify the upgraded locomotives. As an example, many S1 4-6-2s were upgraded with new cylinders, valve gear and other modern appliances and were reclassified as S1A. All of the O5 4-8-4s, S4 4-6-4s and M4 2-10-4s were upgraded in the 1930s, keeping crews busy at several shops during the Depression. The 2-10-4s were actually changed from their original heavy coal service design to high speed mainline service between Lincoln, NE and Denver. They stayed in that service during WWII until the FT diesel locomotives entered service in 1944. 
 
4. In 1950, the Q decided to convert some of their larger steam locomotives from coal to oil fuel. This group included O5As 5614, 5620, 5626, 5627, 5629 and 5632 and S4As 4002 and 4003. The O5As were reclassified as 05Bs and the S4As were reclassified S4Bs. All were assigned to Lines West, Lincoln to Denver. The Q had many other locomotives that burned oil, but none of them carried the “B” designation. I don’t know why. As an example, all 15 O4 2-8-2s were converted to oil in the 1920s, but never received the “B” designation.

If you visit the BRHS photo feature and browse the steam locomotives you will see that the titles below the photos are undergoing a change. They are all being changed to the syntax seen
in the example below. Location and dates are added were available.  The location and dates are not included for search results at this time, but are included for Category and Album browsing when choosing steam locomotives. Cool... Yes?

BTW, the comma after the engine number is very important as it allows for the reading of this title with a program that will enable connecting the roster data to these photos. In other words, please don't edit them out.  Thanks! If you visit a steam locomotive page that has not yet be revised to this syntax, I invite you to edit this title change. Don't forget the comma.
