If you take a look at the Flickr collection in the BRHS website members only 
section, you will find a number of photos of red and black consists. Most can 
be found in the albums for GP7/9 and SD7/9. I don’t think photographers or the 
RR discriminated. Look in the albums section for those albums. Keep in mind, 
that all GP20s and later were always painted red. Mixing higher HP units with 
older lower HP units was not a common practice, so you won’t find very many 
photos of GP30s mixed with GP7s or 9s, but there are some.
